David Hamilton

Hi Classmates,

I sent in a check for the dinner, but I never heard anything back. I would like to attend. By the way you will not find my picture in the yearbook, because I graduated in Jan of 1966, but my diploma clear states: Class of 1966. Anyway, just a little background: married, 2 children, 4 grandchildren, owner of Maaco Sunnyvale for 18 years. I guess you could say I wasn't exactly a model student, but would love to see you all again.

A homecomming at the Reunion

I also want to say thank you to the group who planned and organized the reunion. You did an amazing job. It was more than I ever expected, and everyone enjoyed it to the max. We certainly have the best class ever to come out of EHS, which is proven by the great individuals who have done so much!

I have attached a picture of Brent Howatt, Ken Cissna, and myself that was taken during one of the wonderful days we spent with family after the reunion. This taken at Founders Grove.

FYI- to the many friends who wished me luck at the Masters Swimming National Championship in Portland the weekend after the reunion I want to say thank you. I did well getting 2 firsts, 2 seconds, 2 thirds and one 4th place finish. It was a long event - 4 days. A lot of fun!

What the heck happened to the last 50 years????

It all went by so fast, didn't it?  And they say time flies when you're having fun...Life has been interesting...owning a Hot Spring Spa Dealership in Coos Bay, OR  for 11 years then retiring in 2013, and moving to Ontario, OR, only to start another business just 4 months ago.  I have been married 15 years to Paul, the love of my life, and am having the time of my life.  LOVE Oregon, especially Ontario, just an hour from Boise, Idaho.

Hello to all my former classmates.

Hello to all. Wow the years have gone by so fast. I hope this message finds all of the living members our class happy and healthy. I have other commitments the weekend of the reunion and will not be able to attend. The past 50 yeras have been amazing to say the least. I have been married for 44 years to my beloved Maureen and have 3 beautiful daughters, 3 wonderful son in laws and 8 grand children. I'm still in insurance and loving every minute of it. I'm semi retired now working just 3 days a week and letting my staff do the rest while I enjoy surfing, offshore fishing, extreme hunting, taxidermy and most of all my famiy. I have many clients on the North Coast and I'm in Eureka quite often. Don't know when I will retire as I have the best of both worlds. We have resided in Santa Rosa for over 38 years and love it. I feel we were all very lucky to grow up in the place and time we did. I still see all my Home Boys when I'm in the area. Love and best wishes to all and may the Lord bless all of you. Have a great life.

Bring cash for drinks to the Icebreaker

The Icebreaker will have a no-host bar that accepts cash only. Drinks are about $5 each. Appetizers are complimentary and so is all the fun! Hope you have time to get out and see some of Humboldt's gorgeous scenery!

Debbe Hartridge
Remember Humboldt fog and cool breezes!

I tend to forget how different the summer weather is here in Humboldt until I travel. Don't forget to bring layers, especially to the icebreaker. The Warfinger  Building has an outside deck and a lawn area, which could be chilly after 6  o'clock.

A walk down memory lane!

I love the picture of our  Cutten School class.  I have been married 46 years to the love of my life. We have two sons and 5 grandchildren.  We live in Gilroy, Ca.  Our sons and family both live within a 15 miles of us. This is a joy for Papa. and Grandma.

Hi everyone. Planning on being at the reunion. My wife Debbie has a prior commitment that weekend so I will be by myself. We have been married 40+ years, 4 kids and 8 grandkids. I retired from the family business a few years back but the company is still going strong under the leadership of my brothers. Presently my wife and I live near Sacramento and I am helping my son Darren get his own plumbing business going in this area.

Where have all the years gone?

It’s hard to believe 50 years have passed since our days at EHS but I guess we have to accept that fact.

After high school, I spent the next 5 years in college finishing up at Humboldt State in 1971.  From there, I landed in Sacramento where I met my wife, Rosemarie.  We were married in 1973 and will celebrate our 43rd anniversary this year.  We have two daughters and four grand kids who range in age from 15 years down to 3 years.

I spent my whole  career in the Construction/Building Material Industry which included 33 years with one company.  Since retirement in 2007, we moved from Sacramento to Gilbert, Arizona near our daughter and her family and have recently purchased a summer home in Show Low, Arizona.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you in August - It will be a blast.

Excited about attending the BIG 50th

I have only been able to attend one reunion so I am really excited about making this one special.  I am very saddened to learn of all the classmates who are no longer with us.  The list seemed so long.  See you there!

Suellen Schneitter Sherman
Swimming to the reunion!

We will be traveling from Florida to attend the 50th EHS reunion.

As part of our trip I will also be attending the US Masters National Swimming Championships in Portland. Swimming has been a big part of my retirement activities since 2011, and it has given my wife, Bev, and I many great travel opportunities like this. Visiting Eureka and the reunion will be the hilight of our trip.

EHS 50th Reunion

Hello to our fabulous EHS 50th Reunion planning committee! I was wondering if mailings have been sent out to our class members for times and cost information on the August dates chosen. I haven't received any information regarding this, and plan on attending the reunion. Please let me know via e-mail, Facebook or mail. I'm on Facebook as Mary Brookes (Longdon). I correspond with Marc at Christmas, so he should have my recent address. Hope to hear from you soon and looking forward to the reunion in August!!
