I moved to Colorado in 1971 and began a 34 year career with the Colorado DOT as a Professional Engineer building highways in 14 western Colorado counties. Jane and I have been married 40 years and have a daughter Sarah. Now 10 years into retirement, I tinker at our mountain cabin at Fulford, near Vail, and manage to keep pretty busy. I spent two years researching and writing a book about the ghost town of Fulford that was published in 2015 by the Eagle County Historical Society. The book just received a History Colorado Award on 2/3/2016 in Denver. Copies are available at the Humboldt County Library.
We hope to attend the 50th reunion and catch up with our old friends. Can it really be 50 years ?
